Special Thanks
On Saturday, October 20, 2007, The Southern California region of Packards International hosted a dinner to honor Martin Cousineau.
Martin Cousineau received the Special Thanks trophy for his consistent dedication and devotion to promoting the Packards International Motor Car Club as well as the Packard automobile over past years.
He not only displays his diverse collection of high-end Packards, but participates on various boards and committees which raise the profile of the Packard name among local charities, civic organizations, and fraternal societies.
His personal knowledge of Packard history and American history, combined with an abiding love and respect for the auto industry founders, make him a major asset to our Club. The number of well-wishers in the photo indicates the respect and honor in which he is held by the rest of our members.
On Saturday, October 23, 2004, Packards International hosted a dinner to honor Don & Cathy Hull to thank them for their support and dedication in producing the PI Magazine. Robert Escalante introduced Don and Cathy saying "Don and Cathy, everybody at Packards International want to thank you for your support and dedication. We are truly grateful."
Also in attendance were Art and Toni Astor, purchasing the beautiful picture by Michael Bryant that you see in the picture. Art is Orange County's largest vintage car collector and his collection has been featured in numerous magazines. Art, who doesn't usually attend these functions due to his very busy schedule, was delighted to attend to honor the work Don and Kathy Hull do for Packards International.
